Bihar Building Bye Laws 2022 (Updated) is a manuals of various items after the analysis of them. These rates are finalized by Bihar Govt body Urban Development and Housing Department (UDHD). 

• Building Bye laws specify the building coverage, height, bulk and architectural design to ensure the safety and aesthetics.
• It is very helpful especially in the preparation of Building Plan, Floor Plan, Blueprint etc. 
• Also deciding the setbacks of building for safe habitability.
• The laws impose penalties for violations, misrepresentations or construction deviations.

Generally, a clause in the conditions of construction is included, saying that, any extra item included during construction should be planned as per Bye Laws.
