MADHYA PRADESH PWD SOR 2024: PWD SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR ELECTRICAL WORKS UPDATED IN 2025
Schedule of Rates (SOR) is the standard list of rates of various items or works, which helps the preparation of an estimate to set the rates of materials, Labour and services in Electrical Works. These rates are finalised on 1st Jan 2024, But Timely Revised by Madhya Pradesh PWD Electrical Works (MP-PWD ELECTRICAL) in August 2025.
- The prices of labour and materials have substantially changed since then. Taking into consideration labour rates, material costs, the Schedule of Rates has been revised. Accordingly, the electrical schedule of rates for 2024 has been prepared and issued.
- The understanding of SOR, item names for each item and sub-item has been assigned. It is advised that the cost abstract of the estimate may include only item number, sub-item number, item name, unit, rate, quantity, and amount. This will enable easy at-a-glance reading of the estimate. However, it is always required to include a full description of items in both the detailed estimate and the BOQ.
- The rates given are for finished items of work and all materials, labour, wastage, royalties, lease rent, scaffolding, temporary work, T&P hire charges, breakage, etc. are included in the rates, unless specified otherwise.
- Any damage to the wall surface, fittings, etc., done during execution of work by the contractor shall be finished by him free of cost, bringing it to the original finish condition.
